As the name suggests, The ‘Stalker’ was originally designed as a shore based, short to medium range finesse rod. ‘Stalking’ areas with limiting casting room in dense
vegetation, surrounding clear, shallow water, where your ability to present a lure without spooking your prey is reduced. It has proved a very versatile tool not only in these
situations but also as a short range, boat based rod, in and around heavy structure. Boat based testing was primarily done on South Australia’s Port River where heavy
industrial structure holds good populations of sizable black bream. Again, limited casting room & ultra finesse presentations where needed along with plenty of pulling
power. The ‘Stalkers’ design allowed easy access to fish that with a longer rod would be almost impossible to access.
Finesse work with unweighted or lightly weighted Soft plastic Lures and small surface or minnow style lures and Vibes or 'Blades', both in fresh and salt-water applications,
ergonomics, ultra light weight and verstility was the key design factors. The STALKER has found particular favor with the Canoe / yak based anglers.
The ‘Stalker’ is built on high quality, ultra light, Fast tapered multi modulus graphite blank. It is nearly impossible to get wrist fatigue, even during long
sessions. Built as standing with FUJI’s Alconite guides and tip and dark minimal bindings, light reflection is kept to an absolute minimum so as not to

The newest addition is the SS701ULF. The newly designed blank fills a gap between the 701ULMF and 701LXF rods. By combining the ultra light weight of the ULMF blank
